What is this document?
This document (the Base Prospectus) constitutes a "base prospectus" for the purposes of Article 8 of
Regulation (EU) 2017/1129 of the European Parliament and of the Council (as amended, the Prospectus
Regulation) and relates to the Global Medium Term Note Programme (the Programme). This Base
Prospectus is valid for 12 months after its approval and may be supplemented from time to time to reflect

safekeeper or custodian, as the case may be. Interests in a Global Registered Security Certificate will be
