U.S.$500,000,000 4.875% Notes Due 2022

The U.S.$500,000,000 4.875% notes due 2022 (the "Notes") are being offered by the Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia (the "Issuer," the "Government,"
"Bolivia," "we," "us," and "our"). The Notes will constitute unconditional, unsecured and unsubordinated external indebtedness of Bolivia and will not be
promissory notes (pagarés) under Bolivian law. The Notes will mature on October 29, 2022. The Notes will bear interest at a rate of 4.875% per year and will
be payable on April 29 and October 29 of each year, or if such date is not a Business Day (as defined herein) on the next succeeding Business Day (without any
additional interest being payable as a result of such delay) (each, a "Payment Date"). The first Payment Date will be April 29, 2013.
The Notes will rank at all times equally with all of our existing and future senior unsecured indebtedness (other than obligations preferred by statute or by
operation of law).
The Notes contain provisions, commonly known as "collective action clauses," under which we may amend or obtain waivers of the payment provisions of the
Notes and certain other terms with the consent of holders of 75% of the aggregate principal amount of the outstanding Notes. See "Description of the Notes--
Meetings and Amendments--Approval (Collective Action Securities)." Bolivia may redeem the Notes, in whole or in part, at any time by paying the greater of
(1) 100% of the principal amount of the Notes to be redeemed and (2) a "make-whole" amount, plus in each case accrued and unpaid interest to the redemption
date, as described under "Description of the Notes--Optional Redemption."
